Game Drives

Game drives at Inyati Game Lodge are tailored to suit your interests, so you can track your favourite animal or see the birds, flowers, or trees that you love most. To engage with the landscape even more intimately, explore the bush on foot with our expert guides and trackers at your side. Inyati has been recognised by the Lilizela Tourism Awards for the best “Visitor’s Experience Award for the Best Wildlife Encounters”. All our rangers are specially trained in vehicle handling and maintenance. There is a special ‘trackers seat’ fitted to the front of the vehicle. With over 9,000 hectares of traversing wilderness, no two game drives are ever the same.

SEASONAL SAFARI TIMING

Game drives are planned for mornings and evenings as this is the time when the animals are most active. The game drives last for about three hours and include a coffee stop for the morning drive and a sundowner stop in the evening. Inyati generally adjusts safari times accordingly to the seasons to maximise game-viewing opportunities and ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable experience. We suggest that guests arrive in time for lunch on their day of arrival not to miss out on any game drives during their stay.

One of the most pristine settings on the bank of the crocodile river, in the most lush and scenic part of the Kruger National Park. Amazing Safari experience! I can’t recommend Inyati highly enough! We spent three nights in Inyati, which is the perfect amount as it allows for 6 safaris. The staff were very friendly and made us all feel special. Food was great and rooms and surroundings were very relaxing. Kieth and Nelson were our guide and tracker and they were just amazing. We saw so many great viewings and Keith was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging - even keeping our 11 year old enthralled! Wild life You will love the location and more important the concession area with transpassing right. It is not the first time I have been in the Sabi Sands and Inyati but if you think about a travel, now is the time. Usally the density of cars and tourist is limited in Sabi Sands. Despite all negativ effects of Covid, the reduced amount of tourist provides you the chance of a unique experience. And that said, the lodge has taken safty measures (breakfast, dinner served on the table, sanitizer etc.).

At One With Nature Our family enjoyed three wonderful days immersed in watching wild game in their natural habitat. This was topped with excellent rides with professional well trained and highly knowledgeable game wardens. All this coupled with wonderful meals with a varied menu, some in the wild bush, where we were watched at close quarters by hyenas !
