TEAM BUILDING AND CONFERENCE PROGRAMMES

Inyati has a great advantage of having TREE TOPS, which is a separate facility approx. 3 km from the main camp, which offers informal conferences and team-building facilities for up to 40 delegates.
We would supply basic conference equipment, incl. OHP, Flipchart, TV, Video, notepad and pens. Should the group require any extra equipment at least two weeks of notification prior to arrival is necessary to arrange special requests.

Our team-building programmes are set-up to encourage competition and team work.
For the orientation programme, small groups of up to 8 people are formed, each with their own rangers and trackers. The groups are dropped off with their rangers in different areas in the bush and guests are given a rough map and field guide.
A list of certain duties must be tackled as best as possible without the help of the rangers and the first group to make it back to the destination point with the most correct answers is seen as the best group.
Eg. Of duties to be performed:

  1. Identification of: 5 tree names given, find them Spoors and interpreting tracks Identify birds and their calls
  2. How close can the group get to an animal? (Possibly one of the big 5 as well as giraffe, impala, zebra, etc.)
  3. Collect certain named items from the bush and lectures on any bush topics.
  4. A treasure hunt can be incorporated in this program with an extra cost depending on the gifts chosen for the bush hunt.
  5. Indigenous survival kits can be made up for guests to use during stay.

This programme is very habitat orientated and there is much to be learned. Small groups working together can help to identify natural leaders and will help with understanding characters and how others you work with think and reason.
Day and night courses can be set up so on request and are all conducted in the bush.
Inyati can accommodate 20 people and should the group exceed 20 we can split the group with a neighbouring lodge.

Companies such as Metcash, Metalman, Pride Milling, Supergroup and Metcash International, to name a few, have held very successful conferences at Treetops.
